Hurricane was the second performance from Word Lounge Theatre Company which was performed on Saturday 8th December at Birmingham Repertory Theatre

A change comes through like a hurricane.

Dorothy is fed up of being told who to be. She can’t trust anyone because no one understands her – well no one except her dog and best friend Toto. When he runs away and a hurricane hits, they both get swept up on an adventure to a strange land with game shows, talking Sat Navs and a humanoid fox called Nick.

Can they get home and will they be the same when they get back?

Devised by the company, Hurricane put a unique spin on The Wizard Of Oz.
