W&T recieve ACE support & embark on an exciting new project!

Women & Theatre is thrilled to announce it has received a grant from Arts Council England’s Covid-19 Emergency Fund. We are so grateful & deeply appreciate the incredible way that ACE has responded to the crisis to support the sector.

This grant will make such a difference to W&T during this challenging time as well as enable us to deliver an exciting new project: Women in Lockdown.

This ambitious online community project will engage women across Birmingham & the Black Country in their homes. Developed from research, Women in Lockdown will use music & ensemble performance to share authentic accounts of the impact of social isolation on women in this unique period of History.
